Achieving greatness in the game of football means to be willing to start with the small things. My first rendezvous with football occurred at my local club, which at the time was 6 leagues down from Bundesliga. Nonetheless, my motivation has always been to make it to the big leagues, being close to the game without losing the professional distance to it. For the goal to become a commentator, I was prepared to take small steps, starting in the street in front of my parent’s house.

Initially, every single word posed a challenge. Jobs as a trainee in various positions helped me gain access to the world of sports journalism. Subsequently I was able to establish myself in this business through effort and passion for my work. At key moments in my life, I am grateful to have had valuable sponsors and also the right amount of good fortune.
